50 YEARS OF FLIGHT TRAINING EXPERIENCE
My name is Derek and, having spent many, many years helping people to learn to fly in Bournemouth to obtain their licence, I now enjoy specialising in completing training courses studied elsewhere and re-validating private licences including expired twin and IMC ratings.
All this is done with one important aim :
to put the fun into flying And learning to fly!
WHAT WE OFFER
INTENSIVE 3-WEEK PPL FLIGHT TRAINING
The idea is that you come, have an enjoyable time! This is a proper airfield with radar, ILS and all the bells and whistles, NOT a grass air strip. We do around 10 3-week PPLs per year and I have never failed due to the weather.

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU LEARN TO FLY AT BOURNEMOUTH?
PPL E-EXAMS
NO ZOOM, online, or any other magic
All teaching is in person, one to one. I offer a 5 Day Exam Course – complete all ground school within 1 week!
INTENSIVE 3-WEEK PPL COURSE
I specialise in short-course training. You will have a dedicated instructor and aircraft for your training. Nobody else will be here while you are.
IMC INSTRUMENT RATING
This is the most useful Rating you will perhaps ever do, but it does need doing properly otherwise it’s not only useless, but, dangerous as well
ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT TRAINING
We have excellent accommodation available while you learn to fly in Bournemouth, situated within the world-famous Sandbanks Peninsula
